After my conversation with the director of the graduate program regarding returning to the program, I’ve decided to go forward with it.
I’m excited to meet the new class that I’ll be spending my last year with next Thursday. I’m very excited to see my old classmates next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for our generative AI certificate.
I can’t believe it’s been 10 months since I last saw any of them.
We discussed the re entry application process (I mostly finished it, except for one section that didn’t seem to have migrated with the new application updates—so I’ll need to reach out for assistance tomorrow). I also confirmed what the workload looks like and explained my plan to use some vacation time during the fast paced summer courses to protect my health.
I feel confident I can do the last 10 months of the program without burning out or causing the same level of physical stress I suffered last year. I’m mentally accepting I may be a B student and that despite my bizarre upbringing, this is perfectly fine.
I managed to get another 20 photo edited completed from Mexico last spring, and I estimate I will have about 40 more to edit. I would’ve gotten farther if I hadn’t had connection issues due to storms in my area. I’ll definitely be able to post them online Saturday or Sunday.
Monday I plan to switch back to writing so that I can get as much of my sequel down as I can before classes begin in two months.
I’m feeling very happy with my decisions.
Have a wonderful evening!
Mischa
