he hands me a trinity of red roses
runs them down my skin
he pours me a glass of cabernet sauvignon
remains a soft spoken gentleman
allows me a sip
a second to savour on my lips
before the beast rips through
and with both warm square hands
firm on my waist
draws me down into his den
tosses me into his nest
amidst the spill of candlelight
strips us both bare
and surges forward in starvation
are you my last temptation
our mutual distraction
sweet affliction
a worthy infection
i am addicted
to touching you
kissing my wrists
snuggled like puppies
nuzzling noses and bumping heads
stroking hands and lips cascading all over me
against shoulder hip ankle calf stomach spine
waterfall affection flowing so naturally
we would have to be idiots
not to keep this up
so roll with it baby
throw me to the wall
and devour me from ears to toes
and i buckle
i evaporate
forget the chocolate
i don’t need an aphrodisiac
i’d rather be blindsided by lust
than to go out desperately seeking it
i haven’t cared about the morning after in years
i prefer an accident
yanking me about with fistfuls of hair
with such tenderness in the aggression
strong fingers raking the length of me
and expertly mock chocking
in a way that tells me
no matter how kinky this gets
i am more than safe
it’s been a long time since i felt that
as his mouth burns down the softness of my throat
perfect blend of tenderness playfulness and raw obsession
fire in his eyes and feathers in his touch
as he rocketed through me
crashed against me i exploded
and we clawed each other to bits
that shock of middling hair flashed metallic
with sun and golden dawn promises
spindrift of a wild creature’s winter coat
those orbs glacier pale azure split open
eyes screaming stormy skies
threatening a downpour
warning of the flood to come
the lightning inside cracks down
and they shoot through silver
he won a seven star gold review
out of a possible four
he pins me down again
fierce ferocious
the forbidden so delicious
sanctify the profane
blessing with our bodies
let me watch
the shadows of expressions
dance across your features
let me giggle and smirk
to know it’s
all my fault
i’m just another graveyard girl
you seem to spend your time in the sun
you have the power to tangle all my plots
and ruin my coup de gras
i intend to be a repeat offender
before the moment is lost forever
i forget the etiquette
but you earned bragging rights
and i confess
i lodged my brains
between your sheets
when i heard the color red
yes yes yes
let’s do that again
