Artist Statement

Through acrylic and oil painting, I create surreal sapphic imagery that explores the intersections found between feminism, healing from trauma, accepting sexuality, desire, transformation, and myth converge.

Figures emerge in swirls of vivid color and texture, embraced by raw symbolism, inviting viewers into vignettes that feel both deeply personal and otherworldly. My love affair with the dance between softness and strength, beauty and darkness, vulnerability and power, shine through each piece.

Influenced by fantasy, horror, and gothic aesthetics, my work blends realism with surrealism to explore the emotional landscapes we inhabit but cannot always articulate.

Ultimately, my work is an invitation to see queer desire, female sexuality and power, and darkenss as sacred.

My images ask the viewer to reconsider world religions, patriarchal oppression, and to question what is it the world fears more than an educated, beautiful, sexually-empowered, autonomous, sovereign woman?
